If you feel anything reading this - envy, judgment, irritation, shame - good.
Door One just opened.
This morning, my 14-year-old daughter and I opened our luxury Advent calendars together.
Yes - those ones.
The ones people whisper about.
The ones that spark opinions.
The ones that invite the world’s favourite emotions:
envy, resentment, comparison, disgust, fascination, projection.
I’ve spent years terrified of sharing my wins because people applaud your pain…
but they punish your joy.
Share a breakdown?
Everyone rushes in with hearts and prayers.
Share an upgrade?
People flinch.
They shrink.
They tell themselves stories about you so they don’t have to meet the truth inside them.
So let me tell you what really happened today:
My team saw the video. And every single unspoken emotion surfaced.
Envy. Shame. Desire. Resentment. Longing. Judgments they didn’t want to have.
And the courage to stay in the room with it.
That’s why I’m sharing this with you.
Not for applause.
Not for performance.
Not for a “look at me.”
But because you cannot grow unless something in you gets poked.
Most people never get past Day One of their own truth.
They see something that stirs them — and instead of looking in, they look away.
This is your doorway.
Your envy is not a flaw.
Your judgment isn’t a sin.
Your shame isn’t a failure.
They’re signals.
Signals that there is something in you ready to be met, revealed, healed, elevated.
So here’s my invitation:
24 Days.
24 Doors.
One challenge:
Stay in the room with the truth of YOU.
No bypassing.
No pretending.
No spiritual performance.
No “I’m fine, babe.”
No moral superiority.
Just radical, honest, emotional adulthood.
If you’re brave enough to open come and open each door with us this Advent in our private WhatsApp group.
Are you coming in… or staying out?
